A little bit about me…my name is Gevrey and I grew up in California. Since the age of 9, I’ve always dreamed about opening up my own bakery. I would get home from school and watch The Food Network and write down on a piece of paper all the recipes; immediately go into the kitchen to test them out. Some turned out great, others…not so much. But I was 9, so it was okay for me to mess up. haha. Then my dad and I came up with the name Gevy’s Goodies and it’s stuck with me ever since.

Fast forward to today. I’m 25, finally starting the bakery. I’m going to be doing an at home bakery in Tampa, Fl until things really start to pick up. Then the next step will be to get a small truck and sell out of the truck. It’ll be the cutest dang bakery truck you’ve ever seen! Then eventually opening my own store front.

I wanted to write to anyone who is thinking about doing an at home bakery or even to encourage people to follow their dreams of baking! You’ll read all about how I started everything from the ground up, my successes, my failures and my advice. Welcome to my journey!
